St Rose of Viterbo
(c. 1233–1251) Franciscan tertiary who preached in the streets of Viterbo at twelve, rallying the city to the pope against the emperor Frederick II, and was exiled with her family for it. Refused entry to the convent for poverty, she died at seventeen; her body lies there now.
