Sponsor a day on the Liturgical Living calendar

Liturgical Living is a small, ad-light Catholic calendar and app, made by one small company. A day sponsorship puts one short, labeled line on that day's calendar page, and your gift helps keep the site and the app free.

What you get

One line of text at the bottom of the day's calendar page, under the saint and the readings, clearly marked “Sponsored by”. For example:

Text only: no images, scripts or tracking. Your link is marked rel="sponsored".

Coming in the next app update: the same line will also show in the Liturgical Living app on your dates.

Honest numbers

The website is small: dozens of visits a month. The app is used every day by a few hundred people. A sponsorship here is patronage, like sponsoring a day on Catholic radio, not mass advertising. After your date we'll send you the real visit and click counts, however small.

The rules

  1. Catholic-appropriate sponsors only. Shops, parishes, ministries, schools, retreat houses, publishers and family memorials. No politics or campaigns, no fundraising for causes outside the Church, nothing that conflicts with Church teaching, and no gambling, alcohol promotions or dating sites. We may decline any sponsor, with a full refund.
  2. Never inside prayer or reading text. The line sits below the day's saint, readings and prayers, set apart and always labeled “Sponsored by”.
  3. You write the line. Up to 80 characters, plus an optional link. We accept it or ask for changes; we don't write prayers or devotional copy for sponsors.
  4. No quoted Scripture translations or Catechism text in the line.
  5. Text only. No images, tracking pixels or scripts. Links carry rel="sponsored".
  6. Memorials are welcome. “Offered for the soul of …” lines, written by the family.

In memory of someone

Many people sponsor a day for a loved one: an anniversary, a birthday or a patron saint's day. Write the line as you'd like it to read, for example “In loving memory of Mary Kowalski, 1931–2024”. The link is optional.

Frequently asked

How soon does my line appear?

We read every line within 48 hours of payment. Once approved, it appears on your date's page at the next site update, and the site updates twice a day.

What if my line is declined or my date is taken?

You get a full refund to the card you paid with, or we suggest another date if you prefer.

Can I change my line later?

Yes. Reply to our email before your date and we'll update it.

Can a parish get an invoice or receipt?

Stripe emails a receipt when you pay. If your parish needs an invoice in its name, email us and we'll send one.

Does the line appear in the app?

Not yet. The next app update adds it: once that update is out, the app shows the same labeled line on your dates. Until then, sponsorships appear on the website's calendar pages.
