Nine days of prayer to Divine Mercy. Pray the daily prayer every day, then the day's own prayer, and close each day with the closing prayer.

The daily prayer (every day)

Most merciful Jesus, in whom is hidden the treasury of mercy, I trust in you. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy may be prayed each day with this novena.

The nine days

Day 1

For all mankind, especially sinners. Most merciful Jesus, immerse all of humanity in the ocean of your mercy.

Day 2

For the souls of priests and religious. Most merciful Jesus, from whom comes all that is good, bless your priests and religious.

Day 3

For all devout and faithful souls. Most merciful Jesus, bring all who already love you closer still.

Day 4

For pagans and those who do not yet know you. Most merciful Jesus, draw them into the light of your truth.

Day 5

For the souls of separated brethren. Most merciful Jesus, restore the unity of all who confess your name.

Day 6

For the meek and humble, and for little children. Most merciful Jesus, hide them in your Sacred Heart.

Day 7

For the souls who especially venerate and glorify your mercy. Most merciful Jesus, sustain them in trust.

Day 8

For the souls in purgatory. Most merciful Jesus, refresh them with the waters of your mercy.

Day 9

For souls who have become lukewarm. Most merciful Jesus, soften their hearts that they may love you again.

Closing prayer (every day)

Eternal Father, I trust in your mercy. Jesus, King of Mercy, we trust in you. Amen.
