Mother of Perpetual Help, you are the dispenser of every grace which God grants us in our miseries. He has made you so powerful, so rich, so kind, that you might assist us in our needs. To you I turn, with confidence. Help me, dear Mother, for the love of Jesus Christ. Amen.

The nine days

Day 1

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known sorrow. Comfort all who are sorrowful today.

Day 2

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known waiting. Strengthen all who wait for the Lord.

Day 3

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known the cross. Help us carry our own without bitterness.

Day 4

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known the resurrection. Awaken hope in those who have lost it.

Day 5

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known family life. Pray for our families and friendships.

Day 6

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known fidelity. Keep us faithful in small things.

Day 7

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known mercy. Soften our hearts toward those who have wronged us.

Day 8

Mother of Perpetual Help, you have known joy. Restore joy to weary believers.

Day 9

Mother of Perpetual Help, you are our intercessor. Carry our petition to your Son.

Closing prayer (every day)

Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, our life, our sweetness, and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. Amen.
