The daily prayer (every day)

St. Joseph, faithful guardian of the Holy Family, we entrust to you our intention. Through your prayers, obtain for us a heart like your own: silent, faithful, patient, and entirely given to the will of God. Amen.

The nine days

Day 1

St. Joseph, foster father of the Word made flesh, pray for us that we may receive the Word as you did.

Day 2

St. Joseph, just man chosen by the Father, pray for us that we may be just in all our dealings.

Day 3

St. Joseph, silent worker of Nazareth, pray for us that we may sanctify our daily labor.

Day 4

St. Joseph, model of patience, pray for us in our trials and uncertainties.

Day 5

St. Joseph, protector of families, pray for our family and for all who depend on us.

Day 6

St. Joseph, terror of demons, pray for us against every temptation and snare.

Day 7

St. Joseph, dying in the arms of Jesus and Mary, pray for us that we may die a holy death.

Day 8

St. Joseph, patron of the universal Church, pray for the Holy Father and our bishops.

Day 9

St. Joseph, our intercessor and friend, present our petition to your Son.

Closing prayer (every day)

O glorious St. Joseph, you who have power to render possible even things that are considered impossible, come to my aid in this present difficulty. Take this affair into your hands and bring it to a successful issue. Amen.
